At Kanalu Surf House we value sport, health, comfort and the lifestyle that goes with it. We maintain a relaxed interaction with each other so that everyone feels comfortable. After surfing, our beautiful garden invites you to have dinner together or to linger in comfort. For evening fun, there are often jam sessions and concerts to attend. We love to exchange ideas and learn from each other day by day.

LOCATION
Kanalu Surf House is located in a villa in the southwest of Portugal. It is located in the Algarve's beautiful São Vicentino Nature Park, just a few minutes' walk from Arrifana beach. After a day by the sea, you can relax in our well-maintained garden overlooking the nature park and enjoy a drink at sunset. Perfect conditions and location for your holiday!
Kanalu Surf House
We renovated the villa with our guests in mind, and offer a high standard but personally decorated home. There is a large communal, fully equipped kitchen and living room at the upper part. In our beautiful garden we also have an outdoor kitchen which is fully covered. We also lovingly maintain a vegetable garden and fruit trees.
We give great importance to comfort and offer the following stay options:
Different rooms, with or without bathroom for single or double occupancy. The house can also be rented completely for groups or families. See the diffrent rooms option by clicking on the button bellow.
Activities
The Kanalu Surf House offers various activities: Surf lessons, surf guiding, yoga. Massages, deep sea fishing, boat tours and horse riding can also be organised through us. In addition, surf equipment such as surfboards and wetsuits can also be rented separately. You can always let us know what activities you are interested in. We will be happy to provide you with information and answer any questions you may have.
Surf-Lessons for beginners and intermediantes
During the surf course you will learn how to handle the surfboard, catch a wave on your own and get up. The first attempts take place in the white water, on already broken waves. Afterwards, unbroken green waves await you. Let's surf!

Surf-Tours
for advanced Surfer
The surf tours are aimed at advanced surfers. You should be able to paddle into the line up and surf a wave. The group consists of max. 5 participants including the surf guide. Together we will search for the best waves at the surrounding surf spots. Living the search! A session usually lasts 1,5 to 2h hours, depending on the conditions. By sharing our surfing know-how, we aim to improve your surfing skills so that you feel more confident and comfortable in the water. Take advantage of the surf guide's local knowledge and surf the best waves in the region!

Surf equipment can be rented on site or you can bring your own.

Arrifana
Arrifana is a very beautiful beach and is considered the main spot of the area. It offers various beach breaks for all levels, a hollow, rocky Pointbreak for advanced surfers.
Monte Clerico
Monte Clerico is a cozy beach with a small beach village and several restaurants. It offers beach breaks to rocky point breaks. This beach has a strong current because it is an open, exposed beach.
Amoreira
Amoreira is a special beach with a beautiful estuary. There are several beach breaks and a point break on each side. Along the river inland, there is a beautiful lagoon, perfect for swimming.
